The Friday prayer, also known as Jumu'ah prayer, is a congregational prayer that is mandatory for Muslim men to attend. However, for women, it is not obligatory to attend the Friday prayer in the mosque, but they are allowed to do so if they wish. It is important for women to seek knowledge from their local religious authorities on the specific guidelines and practices regarding the Friday prayer for women in their community. **

In some communities, women may prioritize spending time with family or engaging in other religious activities at home. Additionally, traditional gender roles and expectations may discourage women from attending congregational prayers in public spaces. It is important to recognize and respect individual choices and circumstances when it comes to religious practices. **

The Friday prayer consists of a sermon (khutbah) delivered by the imam, followed by a two-unit prayer. Muslims gather at the mosque to pray together, listen to the sermon, and strengthen their connection with Allah and the community. **
