There are seven sacraments in the Catholic faith because they are considered essential rituals that were instituted by Jesus Christ and are necessary for the spiritual life of believers. Each sacrament serves a specific purpose in the life of a Catholic, such as initiation into the Church (Baptism, Confirmation, Eucharist), healing (Reconciliation, Anointing of the Sick), and vocation (Matrimony, Holy Orders). The number seven is also significant in the Bible, representing completeness and perfection, which is why the Church has traditionally recognized seven sacraments as the complete and perfect means of God's grace for the faithful. **

Therefore, while urban design is related to both city planning and urban development, it is more aligned with the principles and goals of city planning. **
